SciSports is excited to announce upgrades to its Recruitment application, with new features to further customise the platform and expanded coverage with the addition of new youth leagues.
This upgrade will further add to our ability to support our client partners with enhanced workflows and unique insights on the largest player database available in the market.
Let’s take a closer look at how our latest updates will provide direct benefits to our users.
Custom Fields
The SciSports Recruitment application has been fostering collaboration through features such as Labels, Comments, Attachments and our new collaboration profile for some time.
The latest addition of Custom Fields will further enable the customisation of the user environment, by allowing users to add information to a player’s profile that can assist them in evaluating players.
There are five types of custom fields that users can add:
- Number
- Rating
- Date
- Option
- Text
A wide variety of information can now be included such as salary, player agency, or other internal stored information. Clubs and agencies can optimise their player management by better organising and personalising their own data within the application, next to SciSports’ intelligent insights.
Once created, the custom fields will be visible in two places in the Recruitment Center environment – in the player bio section and within each collaborative player profile.
User created custom fields will also appear as filters in the player search, allowing the quick filtering of the full player database by a user’s custom input.
Highlighted Lists
SciSports is continuously iterating to make sure that our customers have the best user experience on our platform.
With the new Highlighted Lists feature, users have the option to customise what they see when they first log in to the platform. They can see their desired players at a glance by choosing between a team of their choice or one of their self-created shortlists.
Scouts and agents can now quickly and efficiently track and manage their desired players or team with this default view, thereby optimising their workflow when using the platform.
Extended youth league coverage
With competition for talented players at an all time high, it is more important than ever for clubs and agencies to be the first to find young talent.
With this in mind, we have expanded our coverage of youth leagues and thereby increased the number of youth and men’s players on the platform to over 295,000. That is on top of the 39,000+ women’s players we have to offer.
This means that users now have access to a player database that continues to grow, making sure their scouting processes stay ahead of the competition.

- Dutch U21, U18 and U17 leagues
- Premier League U18
- Czech U19 league
- Italian U19 Primavera 1 & 2
- Danish U19 league
- Ukrainian U19 league
